Uji Ultra-Premium Ceremonial Matcha – Samidori (20g Tin)
Handpicked | Single Cultivar | First Harvest | Shade-Grown | Stone-Milled
Discover the depth and elegance of Samidori, one of Uji’s most prized matcha cultivars. This ultra-premium ceremonial matcha is made exclusively from first harvest, shade-grown leaves, selected for their vibrant green color, creamy texture, and deep umami profile.
Cultivated under 30+ days of shade, each tea leaf develops a rich concentration of amino acids, especially L-theanine, resulting in a matcha that’s both calming and intensely flavorful. Our Samidori matcha is handpicked, then stone-milled in small batches by a Level 10 Japanese Tea Master, preserving the integrity of its aroma and mouthfeel. Matchas like this rarely leave Japan.

About Samidori Cultivar:
Unlike common blends, single-cultivar Samidori matcha is rare. Originally developed in Uji for tea ceremony use, Samidori stands out for its naturally sweet, umami-rich flavor and luminous green color — no bitterness, no astringency, no compromise.
This is matcha at its peak — pure, potent, and unforgettable.
