At Origin Uji, our goal is to ensure you are delighted with every order. While we stand behind the quality of our teas and accessories, we recognize that occasionally, issues may arise. Please review our returns and refund policy below.
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the perishable nature of our products, all consumable items — including matcha teas and other food items — are non-returnable and non-refundable, even if unopened.
Return Eligibility (Accessories Only)
Only tea accessories (e.g., bowls, whisks, scoops) are eligible for return. To qualify, the item must:
- Be unused and in its original packaging
- Be returned within 30 days of the purchase date
- Include proof of purchase
To start a return, please contact us at info@originuji.com. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to damage or an error on our part.
Damages & Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Claims must be made within 7 days of delivery.
Refunds
Once your eligible return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Note: Refunds may take additional time to appear on your bank or credit card statement depending on your financial institution.
