Created from a precise ratio of complementary cultivars, this blend was designed to elevate balance, umami, and daily drinkability.
With a creamy body, soft sweetness, and subtle notes of toasted cashew and fresh steamed greens, the Reserve offers a richer experience than basic ceremonial matcha — without stepping into rare or microbatch territory. It’s the ideal matcha for those who want something intentional, elevated, and crafted by one of the most skilled artisans in Japan.

Crafted in Uji, Kyoto Prefecture — the birthplace of Japanese matcha — this blend is composed of first-flush tencha grown on select family-operated fields and finished by Hiroshi, one of Japan’s only 10-Dan Tea Masters.
Blending is considered a pinnacle skill among elite tea makers. Rather than following a fixed formula, Hiroshi uses sensory intuition to bring balance, creaminess, and clarity into perfect alignment, creating a matcha that feels both comforting and quietly refined.
Usucha (Thin Tea): Whisk 1–2 tsp with 2–3 oz water at 160–170°F for a creamy and grounding sip.
High-Quality Latte Base: Ideal with oat or dairy milk for a smooth, umami-rich matcha latte.
Formulated from a selection of Uji cultivars, the Tea Master's Reserve softens bitterness while amplifying creaminess and depth. Designed by a 10-Dan Tea Master for elevated everyday drinking, this blend embodies intentional craftsmanship and versatility.

The Reserve is stone-milled monthly to preserve freshness and aroma. While not as limited as single-cultivar microbatches, it is still crafted in small, deliberate lots under the direction of a Judan Tea Master.
